"so I was thinking of buying a camera that actually requires film. nothing too snazzy, but nice, you know? any suggestions?" - stuckinatree

Hey dude! I bought a fully manual Minolta as my first film camera, but it took a lot of work to figure out what the hell I was doing on it. I might recommend an automatic canon rebel film camera? I was using my dad’s canon t2 and really enjoyed it

Got some photos developed

And looks like there are a few accidental double exposures

My little sister hadn’t been to the Pacific Northwest in 10 years. I took some time off work and we left Thursday morning for San Francisco and later Portland. We had a weekend of scouring every aisle and nook and cranny at City Lights Bookstore, being followed and accosted by a creepy tourist at the Golden Gate Bridge, leaving the bay too late and driving through the redwoods with the Twin Peaks soundtrack keeping us company through the complete darkness. Torey and Mica welcomed us in Portland and we had a night of love, homemade pizzas and the R Kelly concert documentary.

Here’s a song I discovered over the weekend
